Assembly & Finishing

Fold your last row in half and work a slip stitch seam on the inside of your slipper to close the heel. End with a slip stitch in the corner, and fasten off.

To finish the opening: Join yarn at the back heel seam, work over the yarn tail, and evenly single crochet around the opening. Add 4 sc2tog decreases evenly spaced (2 at the back and 2 near the toe side). Slip stitch to the first sc.

For the final round, chain 1, 1 sc in each st around, placing 4 more sc2tog decreases in the same approximate spots as the previous round. Fasten off and weave in all ends securely.

Tips & Notes

If you prefer a snugger fit, skip the final round of the opening or add a few extra decreases. The yarn will naturally stretch out slightly as you wear them, so starting with a slightly snug fit will yield a slipper that conforms beautifully to your feet over time. Enjoy your new comfy slippers!
