Simple Double Crochet Beanie in charcoal grey

If you’re brand new to crochet or just want a relaxing, zero-stress project that you can finish in a single evening, this simple double crochet beanie is the ultimate staple pattern. Worked from the crown down in simple joined rounds, it lets you see your progress immediately and customize the slouch or fit as you go.

Double crochet stitches give this hat a wonderfully flexible drape and soft warmth without being overly heavy or stiff. Top it off with a faux fur pom pom, a matching yarn pom, or keep it sleek and minimalist — this beanie looks fantastic on everyone!
