A: For crayons and washable markers, use any paper. For colored pencils, we recommend 32 lb paper. For alcohol markers, we recommend 60 lb cover stock.
Q: What are some fun facts about Halloween that kids might enjoy?
A: Halloween is celebrated in many different countries, each with its own unique traditions. For instance, in Mexico, they celebrate “DÃa de los Muertos” or Day of the Dead, honoring loved ones who have passed away. Additionally, pumpkins were originally made into Jack-o’-lanterns in Ireland using turnips! This fun and exciting information can make coloring pages even more engaging for kids.
Q: What colors are best for Halloween coloring pages?
A: Traditionally, colors like orange, black, and purple are associated with Halloween. Using bright oranges for pumpkins and deep blacks for spooky elements like bats can really bring your coloring pages to life! Encourage kids to explore other colors, too; green can be great for witch hats, and pink can add charm to adorable ghost designs.
