Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream or dairy-free alternative
  • ½ cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • 4 drops green food coloring
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Crushed chocolate sandwich cookies for rim and garnish
  • Candy eyes or green gummy worms for garnish

Method

  1. Dip the rim of a tall glass in water, then into crushed cookies to create a decorative "dirt" edge.
  2. Swirl a bit of chocolate syrup inside the glass for a monster-like effect.
  3. In a blender, combine vanilla ice cream, milk, green food coloring, and peppermint extract (if using).
  4. Blend on medium until smooth and well mixed.
  5. Pour the green shake into the prepared glass.
  6. Top with whipped cream.
  7. Garnish with extra crushed cookies, candy eyes, and gummy worms.
  8. Add a straw and serve immediately while cold and frothy.

Notes

The swirling of chocolate syrup inside the glass not only creates a visually appealing monster-like effect but also enhances the flavor profile, offering a rich contrast to the sweet and creamy vanilla base. This technique elevates the experience by adding layers of taste and texture that make each sip exciting.
